Color Theory Color Wheel Class
Have you ever wondered why some colors look better together than others? It isn’t just luck! There is actually a science to it! Come learn the science of color theory and use a color wheel to understand how colors work together. You will become an expert at selecting and combining colors! As a bonus you will make a color wheel 36x40 wall quilt top!
Materials Required for class:
- Fabric Kit (includes all fabric to make wall hanging and pattern)$45
- Creative Grids 30 degree ruler $32.49
- Take-Along Mini Color Wheel $7.95
- Sewing machine with new needle
- Rotary cutter (small cutting mat optional)
- Small ruler for trimming (optional)
- Small Iron and ironing mat (optional)
- Ripper
- Straight Pins
- Thread (we prefer 50wt Aurifil) for piecing
- Small scissors
- We will be discussing quilting thread options during class such as monopoly, so if you happen to have a spool of monopoly thread, bring it to class.
Our classroom has a couple large cutting surfaces with mats, rulers, & several ironing boards with irons that students may use.
